It seems there is a bit of a baby boom in my world! I have no issues with this, Aunty Em loves nothing more than a new bub to spoil and cuddle!
I had been working on this blanket for a bit. We didn’t know the sex of the bub and once I had finished it I was hoping it was a boy! The one danger of snagging a yarn bargain on ebay is that colours can be deceptive. This was supposed to have mauve in it, but is really just blue, grey & mint! So when my newest little ‘nephew’ arrived this week, I was glad he wasn’t a pink lover!!
I used some pinterest and google inspiration and didn’t use a pattern. Pretty simple really. Stocking stitch borders, and then 10 stitches knit, 10 stitches pearl until squares formed, then change knit to pearl and go again! It…
